Presently: PhD student with the Cardiff University Division of Infection and Immunity based at the Henry Wellcome Building. Under the supervision of Professor Andy Godkin and Dr. Dave Cole my research project, jointly funded by Life Science Research Network and Tenovus Cancer Care, focuses on the development of immune-modulators for preventing immune suppression by cancer-associated LAG3+ CD4+ T cells. Understanding of the molecular rules that determine LAG3+ CD4+ T cell immune suppression will enable the development of new therapies to block this effect in patient with colorectal cancer.

2014-2015: Awarded a pass with Distinction for Master of Science by Research in Biomedical Research, specialising in cancer cell migration, from the University of Reading.

2011-2014: BSc (Hons) Biological Sciences degree at the University of Reading, graduating with First Class Honours.
