Presently: Research Assistant and Tissue Culture Manager in the laboratories of Dr Linda Wooldridge and Professor Andy Sewell, Department of Immunity, Infection and Biochemistry, Cardiff University.

2001-2009: MRC Cooperative Group Cellular and Viral Immunology Resource, School of Medicine, Cardiff University. Working with many researchers, including Professor Gavin Wilkinson, Professor Martin Rowe and Dr Eddie Wang, this role involved the set-up and management of a tissue culture facility providing cell and virus banking, mycoplasma testing, cell line immortalisation and antibody testing.

2003: MPhil. Production of Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor by Human Granulosa Cells. Medical School, University of Southampton.

1996-2001: Junior Scientist at Cymbus Biotechnology Limited, part of a team in a busy tissue culture suite, manufacturing and developing monoclonal antibodies.

1992-1996: BSc (Hons) Applied Biological Sciences, University of the West of England, Bristol. Third year sandwich placement spent at Cymbus Biosciences Ltd, Southampton.
